![]() ![]() That package is the Security Manager application and not the Security Device Driver pack that would be needed to have the OS to properly recognize those unknown devices as read around on Dell forums. On one E6320 I fixed the same issue by installing one these packages Dell_ControlPoint-Security-M_A11_R210494.exe founded at this link: Of course without this installation step I got a few unknow devices with yellow warning sign in Device Manager. The package I'm using is Dell_ControlPoint-Security-D_A18_R269916.exe that's the latest version available on Dell FTP site ![]() I follow all best practices listed on the re-image how to guide in order to install BIOS, drivers and Dell software in the correct order but everytime I try to install the Dell ControlPoint Security Device Driver Pack on my new Dell Latitude E6420 with W7 64 bit I'm getting the above annoying error message.
